
We were impressed by the Corvette’s pace up the back straight at Mostport - a lap time of 1:35 in an essentially stock C6 Corvette isn’t shabby! - but it’s been easy to identify areas where performance upgrades would significantly increase the fun factor and reduce lap times.

Purchased in 2000, this stock CX Civic became a Time Attack (Canadian: SoloSprint) car. Its had over a dozen engine swaps, a full color change, endless wheel and tire combinations, a roll cage rebuild, and has crossed the continent for in NASA’s now defunct Open Track Challenge. What's next?

In 2003, Infiniti debuted the new G35 Coupe and truly made an effort to appeal to the performance-minded driver looking for a well-appointed luxury sports coupe. Though the G35 has an impressive equipment list on paper, in stock form it doesn't produce the results you'd hope for on track. What is encouraging is that most all of these issues can be remedied with quality aftermarket performance products. The Integra Type R pushed the limits of performance with a focus on lightness and stiffness with little concern for NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness). The Tune2Win Type R is ready for some performance improvements for the track, but must maintain street legality and a reasonable amount of comfort. We have begun the careful selection of components to raise the high performance capabilities of the Type R - and back-to-back testing will prove if we’ve made the right choices.
